- Actual performance varies based on settings, environmental conditions, storage, and usage. Batteries are consumable products and their capacity degrades over time as they age. Sony does not guarantee the life span of the battery. 3 The unit, with the cap fastened securely, has a waterproof specification of IPX7*1 as specified in “Degree of protection against water immersion” of the IEC60529 “Ingress Protection Rating (IP Code)”, and a dustproof specification of IP6X*2 as specified in “Degrees of protection against solid foreign objects”. *1 IPX6 equivalency: The speaker maintains its performance while subjected to water jets from every direction. This means that no trace of water is found inside the speaker after a 3-minute test with water jets of 100 L/min and 100 kpa aimed from a distance of 3 m (9.8 ft). IPX7 equivalency: The speaker has been tested to, and maintains its operability when gently submersed in water to a depth of 1 m and left for 30 minutes. *2 IP6X equivalency: The speaker has been tested to and continues to block dust after stirring for 8 hours in a testing device which contains dust particles that are up to 75 μm in diameter.
- There are 3 modes ULT off, ULT1, and ULT 2. Default setting is ULT2.
- The equalizer is controllable through Sony | Sound Connect.
- Do not use any strap other than the supplied shoulder strap. When using the shoulder strap, note the following: ーBe aware that the shoulder strap may catch on surrounding objects. This may cause it to tighten around your neck. ーDo not engage in strenuous exercise. ーWear the shoulder strap diagonally across your body while carrying the speaker. Otherwise, you may accidentally drop the speaker. ーIf the hook of the shoulder strap is not fully passed through the attachment loop, the speaker may fall.
- If the surface of the system gets dirty, do not use detergent, thinner, benzine, alcohol, etc. to clean and do not brush the system. Whether you can completely wash it off or not, depends on the dirt or stain.
- When ULT1/2 on, and the volume level is set to 18, lighting off. Actual performance may vary from the listed time due to the volume, songs played, surrounding temperature, and usage conditions.
